Hello! I'm Gemma Evans,

Photographer, mother and adventurer.

My love of photography can be traced back to childhood, when I got my first little plastic film camera from a thrift shop at around 5. As a teen I was lucky to be mentored by some fantastic artists and photographers in my home town of Gabriola Island, entering pieces into gallery exhibits at a young age. I shot my first wedding at 17!

I continued my passion into post secondary school, honing my skills at Western Academy of Photography.

Nowadays I reside in Port Alberni, B.C offering a wide variety of services to the West Coast, from maternity, engagement, family and lifestyle, to weddings and intimate elopements, I am so excited to share in the special days that make up your life.

I am always excited to hear your ideas for shoots, and am down for hiking, flying, boating and more to your destinations!
